I was 19 years old when I first started to notice my hair loss. I could look at my mother and see that she lost hair. My brothers and my grandfather were balding and I didn’t want to go there.
I could look around at my peers and they all had nice, full heads of hair, and I was starting lose my hair. That is when I started to do some research to see what my options were and how I could take care of my hair loss problem.
When I looked at all of the options there was a lot of confusion and I finally went to a hair loss specialist. They helped me decide what would work best for me!
When I think back to when I first got hair, I was so nervous that everyone would notice and people would say something. Nobody commented! People would look at me and say, ” what did you do differently?” At the time, I had a beard and I shaved my beard off which helped with the transition. Nobody really made a big deal about it but I got nothing but good compliments on the way that I looked.
When I lost my hair I was envious of all of my friends and peers. Once I resolved my hair loss problem, I felt like I was one of them again!
